Our custom-fitted, modern factory was renovated in 2011 and has all the facilities to allow us to provide an unrivalled service.
Every product that enters our factory is fully traceable. This starts with our rigorous supplier approval and goods in processes to ensure food safety standards are met and upheld.
All products are checked for quality, including temperature controls and cleanliness in transport and the presence of any potential cross-contamination. Any products that are not deemed to conform to our standards are investigated by our in-house Quality Assurance Manager and potentially rejected.
Once the products have been accepted, full traceability information is input into our internal factory software generating a batch code assigned to that product. This allows us to track the product through the complete production process.
Orders can be placed in a way that is convenient for you; this can be via email, an online procurement portal or over the phone.
Factory systems integrate to the production rooms to enable staff to fulfil orders and manage stock levels. To avoid any chance of cross-contamination, we have designated red meat and poultry production rooms. Products containing allergens, (like our burgers and meatballs) are produced in a separate area.
Orders completed and dispatched
Once the full order has been completed, all the products are labelled with the relevant traceability information that were assigned at goods in. This offers full and complete traceability from the farm to your fork. As part of our internal risk assessments, we carry out monthly traceability tests including back to farm full traces and annual product recalls ensuring our processes continue to be consistent and effective.
